- W.G. Block Co. located in Davenport, Iowa selling ready mix concrete and sand and gravel to the greater Quad City construction marketplace
- Scott County Ready Mix Concrete Co. and Cody Concrete selling ready mix concrete
now to the entire Quad Cities
area.
- Acme Materials Co. selling ready mix concrete to Muscatine and Louisa Counties in Iowa, turf building products in Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois, masonry products and do-it-yourself concrete products.
- Block Heavy & Highway Products Co. manufacturing and selling products for the construction of highways, interstates, airports and distribution centers.

Established in 1884, W.G. Block Co. has grown from a distributor of coal and ice to a manufacturer of concrete, sand and fabricated steel products. As a closely held family business, W.G. Block Co. has evolved from its early roots as one of Iowa’s largest distributors of coal to a well diversified company focused upon the manufacturing of natural aggregates, ready mix concrete and fabricated wire and steel products for the road construction marketplace.
