Block Ready Mix Group is
located in Davenport,
Eldridge & LeClaire, Iowa
and Silvis Illinois and is
comprised of W.G. Block and
Scott County ready mix concrete division.
The Davenport location of Block ready mix is located on the Mississippi River in a newly constructed, state of the art, concrete mixing plant. This fully enclosed plant is designed for efficient high production concrete manufacturing, the entire plant is built around a central mix drum which allows us to build upon our reputation as the areas leader in both high production and technically demanding concrete.

On the outside, the plant is architecturally pleasing, topped with two eight-foot diameter illuminated clocks, and is reflective of our commitment to the community.
Block Ready Mix Group is dedicated to the greater Quad City concrete construction market place and leads the area in supplying paving jobs, large commercial laser screed placements and concrete with challenging technical specifications.
Our newest plant on the
Silvis/East Moline border was
opened to better accommodate our
customers on the Illinois side
of the river. This plant
helps us to deliver our ready
mix concrete in a more timely
and cost effective manor,
especially to outlying Illinois
counties.

Scott County Ready Mix Company, Inc. and Cody Concrete, are located in Eldridge and LeClaire, Iowa respectively. These companies supply concrete to the Scott County
and Rock Island county market
place, covering the entire Quad
City area. Scott County Ready Mix has built its reputation for dependability upon the foundation of trust and very personal relationships with its loyal customers. Although these companies supply the entire concrete contractor marketplace, they specialize in supplying residential foundation, wall and flat work contractors and large volume paving and commercial placements. |
